Preparing for Instructor-led Online Course

1. Install VNC client

• Go to: http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/index.html
• Click on download the latest version
• Click on Proceed to Download WITHOUT filling out the form
• Choose the client for your operating System
• Install VNC Client (Viewer), you DO NOT have to install VNC server
• Run VNC Viewer
• Connect to the credentials provided

If you expect any problems with you firewall, ask you administrator to enable ports 5900 to 5920 on TCP protocol.

If it is too difficult, let us know so we enable the ports suitable for you.

2. Installing Skype

• Go to:  http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/
• Install Skype and log in or create the user
• Test your microphone and speakers by calling Skype login

• Add user "nobleprog" for assistance or other Skype login provided by NobleProg training coordinator
