Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Training in Utah

This instructor-led, live training in Utah begins with a discussion of BDD and how the Behave framework can be used to carry out BDD testing for web applications. In this instrucor-led, live training in Utah participants will learn how to write high quality tests by employing "screenplays" and the idea of "actors, tasks, and goals" to express tests in business terms rather than as interactions between system components. We look at both functional and UI testing scenarios and demonstrate how Serenity can be used to manage their testing. Behat is a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) test framework written in PHP. It facilitates communication among developers, testers, business stakeholders and clients during the software development process. Behat allows non-technical people to write clear descriptions of an application's intended behavior, then runs those "scenarios" as functional tests against the application.

In this instructor-led, live training, participants will learn how to write and execute BDD style test cases using Behat and PHP.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

Cucumber.js is a native JavaScript implementation of Cucumber.

In this instructor-led, live training, participants will learn how to write and execute BDD (Behavior Driven Devleopment) style test cases using Cucumber and Javascript.
